Tottenham plan to bid for Takefusa Kubo

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the departure of Real Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo.

According to a report by Sports World via Sports WitnessThe Spanish club are yet to receive any offers from any club for the Japan international, but have received inquiries from Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool.

It will be interesting to see if Premier League clubs respond to his interest with an offer to sign the player. The Japanese international has a contract until 2029 and has a release clause of 60 million euros in his contract.

The report claims that Tottenham want to sign the 23-year-old winger and are planning to make an offer for him in the near future. They could certainly do with more depth in the final third and the Japan international is versatile enough to operate on both flanks. He has the quality to succeed in the Premier League and could be a key player for the north London club in the coming seasons.

Kubo scored seven goals and five assists in all competitions last season and could also improve on teams such as Manchester United and Liverpool.
