Having reached the quarter-finals of the competition, England and France may not yet be ready to play this match if both sides make it to the latter stages of the tournament and may therefore still be recovering from a long lay-off. This means that Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Aaron Ramsdale and William Saliba, as well as potential signings from either team, are not being considered.
The same goes for Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli, who are expected to go far in the Copa America. However, some players have already fulfilled their international responsibilities and should be back by match time.
Goalkeeping is a tough one, with Spaniard David Raya potentially going deep in the tournament and yet to return. However, another Spanish goalkeeper linked with a possible move, Joan Garcia, could make his debut if he does sign for Arsenal as a possible replacement for Ramsdale’s expected departure.

Ben White will finally be able to play in defence this summer, but this time as a centre-back, while Jurrien Timber has opted for right-back. After missing most of last season, seeing Timber back on the pitch will be an exciting prospect for fans.
Without Gabriel, Jakub Kiwior, whose Poland team did not make it through their group, will play at left centre-back and Takehiro Tomiyasu at left-back. Oleksandr Zinchenko should be fit to play, but his future is also uncertain.

In midfield, following Italy’s shock exit to Switzerland, Jorginho should be ready to play, while Thomas Partey could have been sold by now. Ahead of the Italian, Martin Odegaard, who had a summer off with Norway and failed to qualify, could start, while there is a chance that exciting teenager Ethan Nwaneri could start in the other attacking midfield role.
Up front, the absence of Saka and Martinelli means that the returning Leandro Trossard can play. Gabriel Jesus will also start and Kai Havertz may not be ready yet either.
On the right, however, there is a dream signing that we have already talked about in football.londonMohammed Kudus. The Ghanaian can bring quality on both flanks and it would be a great success to see the current West Ham striker in the United States.
