The Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a free agent contract with Veteran point guard Delon Wright signs one-year dealaccording to ESPN.
Wright, who turned 32 in April, was originally a first-round pick of the Toronto Raptors in 2015.
Wright played three full seasons with the Raptors, before playing for seven teams from 2018-19.
Wright played last season in Washington and Miami and averaged 4.5 points in about 15 minutes per game off the bench. For his career, he is shooting 35.4 percent from beyond the three-point line.
He has appeared in 41 career postseason games, including the 2016 Eastern Conference Finals with Toronto.
The Bucks have entered the 2024 free agency period As a team with limited roster flexibility, as general manager Jon Horst and assistant general manager Milt Newton have said, it is their intention to sign and place draft picks AJ Johnson and Tyler Smith on the roster.
Barring any trades (the team can still negotiate the rights to picks until they are signed), the Bucks have entered free agency with just three roster spots available. And, as a club operating under the second-apron restriction, they can only sign players to minimum contracts.
