There is never a sure way to secure a player’s signature when it comes to transfers in English football, however, seeing one of those players being snapped up training with one of your own is never a bad sign.

The north London outfit also appear to be relentless in their pursuit of Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher, a deal that could continue to absorb the majority of the club’s energy as they attempt to wean the young Englishman from his allegiances to his boyhood club.
Either way, it’s a welcome development to see Maddison interacting with a potential incoming signing and making exceptional use of his time amid his controversial expulsion from the England national team for Euro 2024.
Perhaps the interaction between Madison and Gibbs-White could provide further insight into the fact that the club will be in dire need of leadership among a team that is becoming increasingly younger but whose internal expectations and demands are increasing exponentially.
