How Kobbie Mainoo ranks among the teenagers heading to Euro 2024

Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo is heading to Euro 2024, but where does he rank among the competition’s best teenagers?

Last season, more than most, it was evident in manchester united that youth prevailed. Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlundand Mainoo, were all electric in red.

So how does he fare against the other teenagers heading to Germany? This is where we rank Mainoo in the top five.

Arda Guler is expected to have a great tournament with Türkiye. The Real Madrid superstar has a lot to prove with Türkiye.

They face Portugal, Georgia and the Czech Republic in Group F. They have a good chance of advancing to the knockout stages.

Linked to Manchester United Joao Neves is the next one. He ranks fourth on our teen list. The Portuguese midfielder has had a fantastic campaign with Benfica, which has made several European clubs take notice.

That includes Manchester United, who have apparently already made an offer for the 19-year-old. However, this is nowhere near Asking price of £102 million The Portuguese League team would like it.

He could very well play from the beginning with Portugal, so manchester united Fans will follow him closely throughout the tournament.

3 – Kobbie Mainoo

Warren Zaire-Emery just misses out on the top spot, and what a player he will be. At only 18 years old, he has been chosen to represent France in a team full of talent.

Whether he plays is a different story, but even being included is a testament to his abilities. He will definitely be a world champion in the future for Paris Saint Germain.

But he doesn’t get the first place of being the best teenager in Euro 2024.

The best teenager at Euro 2024 is also the youngest: Lamine Yamal has been an absolute revelation since he burst onto the scene with Barcelona.

At international level, he became the youngest player and youngest scorer for Spain’s senior men’s team in a Euro qualifying victory against Georgia in September 2023. He has since scored another in six more matches.

At only 16 years old. The sky is the limit. It is going to dazzle Spain in Germany.
