Contact made as Levy follows Gray deal with £50m move to Ligue 1 sensation

Tottenham could follow up the impressive acquisition of teenage midfielder Archie Gray with the addition of another excellent young talent, sources have told TEAMtalk.

Confirmation of Gray’s signing finally came on Tuesday morning after a couple of days of negotiations, as Spurs beat off competition from Brentford to sign the highly-rated Leeds youngster.

He The 18-year-old has signed a six-year contract with Tottenham until the summer of 2030, and will earn a contract worth £75,000 a week.

And the next addition could be another bright young talent, with Spurs considering signing Rennes midfielder Desire Doue.

The 19-year-old, who has also been linked with Manchester UnitedHe is widely regarded as one of the most talented prospects in European football, having made his senior debut with Rennes in 2022.

Since then, Doue has made 57 Ligue 1 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals and is talented enough to be able to play in multiple midfield positions as well as on the wing.

The talented teenager scored four goals and provided six assists in 43 appearances in all competitions last season as Rennes finished 10th in the table, while six of those games came in the Europa League.

Tottenham are already in contact to sign Doue
