Arsenal can secure something of a double transfer boost if they can get business done quickly in the next two weeks. He summer transfer window Officially inaugurated on Friday, June 14, Premier League clubs seek to strengthen their squads for the 2024/25 campaign.
The transfer window will be open until Friday, August 30., giving the clubs two and a half months to do all their business. However, there is an unofficial deadline of sorts that several clubs will be observing and hoping to do business.
Sunday, June 30, represents the end of the financial year for football clubs across the country, the time when they close their accounts and prepare their annual financial statements. This is an important date for clubs to comply with strict Financial fair play and Profitability and sustainability rules.
Arsenal are currently in no danger of failing to comply FFP laws, but will view the June 30 deadline as an opportunity to give themselves more leeway when it comes to spending in the 2024/25 financial accounts. If the Gunners can sell players before June 30, it will potentially give them more money to spend after that date, giving them more financial leeway.
Several players have been linked with a summer exit from Emirates Stadium, with players such as Aaron Ramsdale, Kieran Tierney, Jakub Kiwior, Thomas Partey, Emile Smith Rowe, Fabio Vieira, Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson considered as possible departures.
So how much could Arsenal raise from those sales? Looking at the CIES Football Observatory value tool, Nketiah and Kiwior are worth the most, at least £33.6m each.

Ramsdale is valued at more than £25.2 million, and Smith Rowe and Nelson are worth more than £12.6 million each. Vieira, Tierney and Partey are valued at around £8.4 million each.
So if Arsenal were to sell them all, they could amass at least £142.8m which could go towards new signings. And if not new signings, then towards any concerns they may have about the FFP.
But to count in the 2023/24 accounts, everyone would have to leave before June 30. That would seem like a tall order, taking eight players off the books in two weeks, particularly with three of them out for their countries at Euro 2024.
