Ethen Frank He is the Hershey Bears’ leading scorer in the regular season and playoffs, but the Bears will need to win Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Monsters without him.
After leaving Game 6 early due to lower-body injuryFrank missed Wednesday’s morning skate and will not suit up for the series decider. Frank has scored 9 goals in the playoffs and ranks second on the team in points (12) in 12 games.

Ivan Miroshnichenko will take Frank’s place on the team’s first line with Hendrix Lapierre and Joe Snively. Miroshnichenko, who ranks second on the team in playoff goals (6) and fifth in overall points (10), previously skated with the two in Game 6 after Frank went to the locker room in the second period.

Frank has missed only one previous game this postseason, a Game 3 win over the Hartford Wolf Pack in the Atlantic Division Finals. With Frank out, Hershey will get Pierrick Dubé back in the lineup. Dubé scored 28 goals for the Bears during the regular season, one behind Frank (29) for the team lead.
